Mike VanGessel

Mike VanGessel is a founding partner in Rockford Construction Company, Inc. He has helped grow the company from a two-person firm doing $3.1 million construction annually to a 200-person firm with total revenues more than $176 million in 2010. In the last 24 years with Rockford Construction, Mike has overseen more than 3,000 projects worth $2.6 billion throughout the United States and Canada.

Tom McGovern

Tom McGovern

Tom is President of Rockford Construction; providing oversight for strategy, vision, and measured growth. Tom has managed more than seven million sq. ft. of construction during his career and has been instrumental in fine-tuning the company’s approach to client satisfaction and successful project completions.

Kurt Hassberger

Kurt Hassberger

A lawyer since 1978, Kurt began representing Rockford Construction on legal matters in 1988 with particular emphasis on zoning, municipal and real estate issues. He joined as Rockford Construction’s general counsel in 1995 and became Chief Operating Officer in 1997. Kurt is President of Rockford Development Group and engaged in development and renovation initiatives.

Julie Towner

Julie Towner

As Chief Financial Officer for Rockford Companies, Julie is fiscally responsible for all activities and arrangements contributing to the overall financial success of the corporation. Julie personally supports several worthwhile charities and represents Rockford Companies in her service to an array of community functions.

Ken Bailey

Ken Bailey

Ken first joined the company in 1994 and is now Executive Vice President – Design Build of Rockford Construction. In this capacity, he oversees all construction activities and lends expertise to preconstruction and estimating functions. Ken’s community outreach is instrumental in maintaining Rockford’s commitments to green building and diversity.
