Summary
Project Details
Grand Rapids Christian Schools named Rockford Construction as the construction manager for their athletic facility improvements plan, consisting of two project components. Construction begin late fall 2006 after the football season is over for the High School. Both components will run concurrently, with the first beginning on-site in November 2006 and the second finishing in summer 2008.
The first portion of the improvements plan consists of a major renovation to the Eagle Stadium including a turf field, bleachers, an eight-lane track, and locker rooms. A private event deck was built overlooking the field, above the new concession stand.
“Rockford’s experience in school projects, their proven reputation with value engineering, their understanding of the vision behind the initiative, and their passion for successfully completing all aspects of the project uniquely qualified Rockford Construction as the best choice.”
Thomas DeJonge | Superintendent | Grand Rapids Christian Schools
