Project Details
Rockford completed the 38,000 sq. ft. addition to the distribution center in 2009. The addition consisted of two production lines for bread and cookies. This included two large industrial mixers, a nitrogen tunnel, large oven, and a high fructose corn syrup tank. The existing ammonia system was expanded to serve the -40 degree blast spiral freezer. Both lines had industrial mixers that are fed by four flour silos located in the back corner of the building. The entire process is completely automated and on a conveyor system.
