Project Details
Rockford Construction was contracted by Keystone Community Church to build a new LEED-certified facility that would accommodate its growing congregation. The church sits on a 35-acre site in Ada, Michigan.
The facility includes a 6,000-square-foot sanctuary, coffee shop, offices, childcare center, teen area, and a full kitchen. The new church has a seating capacity of 500 people and 178 parking spaces with potential for expansion.
The Church received certification in 2005 and stands as the first LEED-certified church in the world
Our trust, confidence and gratitude for Rockford’s involvement continued to grow right through the end of our project and move-in. The Keystone Community Church facility is a non-typical church building project which Rockford jumped right into – adding creative input and assisting us in keeping our purpose central in the process. With creative help from Rockford we were able to integrate LEED, future expansion, and budget in a healthy, uncompromising way.
