Rockford Construction renovated the treatment rooms, common areas, physician offices, and specialty testing areas (such as bone density scan) for Spectrum Health’s South Pavilion. The facility was kept functional at all times during the renovation. To respect Spectrum Health’s normal business hours and operation, the team performed a majority of the work at night. Rockford maintained extra sensitivity to patients of the health pavilion throughout construction.
A laboratory was relocated, a heart triage and two other triage rooms were added, dressing rooms were relocated, and a complete renovation of the entire Urgent Care area took place. Rockford also demolished and renovated three radiology rooms in less than five days. Each of the three registration desks, including electrical, voice, data, and flooring for the areas, were replaced in one night before the staff returned to work in the morning.
