Project Details
The Standale location is a totally green facility. Goodwill is seeking LEED certification and will be one of the first certified stores in the world. Goodwill implemented a variety of methods to achieve certification, including the use of recycled or FSC approved products.
Water efficiency was implemented throughout the facility through natural stormwater drainage fields and water efficient toilets, which ensure quantity and quality control. No irrigation was required for this project as the site was equipped with water efficient landscaping.
The facility also has alternative transportation parking, encouraging sustainable practices for bicycle commuters and fuel efficient vehicles.
Rockford Construction Company has built three stores for us to date. All three stores have been built on time and within budget specified by the architect. The Rockford management team is responsive and proactive. Rockford has also been a great partner beyond the construction.
